Avila’s Farmers Market is Great Way to Spend a Friday Evening

One of the best parts about summer is the Avila Beach Farmers Market , held each Friday evening, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Located at the heart of Avila Beach at the Promenade, this local party featuring live entertainment, fresh fish, local produce, and great food from local restaurants runs yearly from April to September.
The sea side village, with its wonderful climate and atmosphere, has become quite a popular place to visit. If you come early in the day while the sun is still shining brightly, you can rent a variety of beach stuff, including chairs, water toys such as surf boards and boogie boards or even go for a boat ride around our beautiful Port, San Luis Bay. You have several choices including a ride in a 25 foot high speed boat or an adventure tour on a Zodiac along the coast. Just under four miles off Hwy 101, it’s definitely worth a visit.
